Hi, we are Vanessa and Michael, the passionate owners behind Lotus Luxury Stays – your premium short term rental company.
We believe first impressions count. From the moment you open the door to your short-term rental, the property has the power to influence your overall experience, whether holiday or corporate stay. We want that experience to be magical and a luxury stay that guests won’t forget.
From our own experiences of travelling and booking serviced accommodation (whether for business or pleasure) and the belief that home is where the heart is, we know it is equally important to feel supported in a beautiful environment with the comforts of home. We are passionate about providing high quality accommodation with thoughtfully created spaces that allow you to unwind, foster connections and create long lasting memories.

Our why

Having served 26 years in the Australian Air Force and currently a Director in the Cyber Security space, Michael brings a wealth of experience in leadership and customer relations.
Vanessa, with a background as a public servant at Queensland Health managing the day-to-day operations of an outsourcing program enabling Queenslanders to receive surgical treatment sooner in the private sector, brings a love of communications and business and project management.
Together (and having recently married in March 2025), they have co-created Lotus Luxury Stays to bring their love of providing incredible service and accommodation to life.
